Siemens Transformer (Wuhan) Company Ltd.
Siemens Transformer (Wuhan) Company Ltd. is a purely foreign-owned company of PTD, engaging in designing and manufacturing power transmission and distribution product, it is the third transformer manufacturing companies of Siemens in China, and the first industrial project invested by Siemens Ltd. China in Hubei. It will bring about a new era of establishing Siemens power equipment manufacturing base in Central China.
The investment of this new company is 200 million RMB in total and the new company will be starting to run at the end of 2008. It will engage in designing and manufacturing of large power transformers, reactors and related market development, sales, services and maintenance. The scope of product including: generator transformers, system transformers, shunt reactors, special transformers, distribution transformers and other similar products. The products will not only be sold in the Chinese market but also be exported overseas via Siemens' global sales network.
