Patent Engineer 工作地点: 北京 招聘人数: 若干 外语要求: 英语 熟练 汉语 熟练 学 历: 本科 职位描述 There will be ample opportunity for the right candidate to use and grow one's skill set in working with Beijing and other international law firms in the patent acquisition process as well as in IP litigations, licensing, and infringement/validity analyses. Candidates preferably should have intellectual property experience in the patent processes of SIPO in China and, preferrably also, of the European Patent Office and the United States Patent & Trademark Office and a willingness to research technologies and to relate and otherwise compare technologies and products of others to Sony Ericsson's patent portfolio. Candidates must have an aptitude and experience with maintaining detailed records including electronic database.
Responsibilities: - Interact with inventors and technologies primarily at SECN as well as with law firms in Beijing and worldwide in the acquisition and analysis of patents, both utility patents and design patents, in the generation of invention disclosure; - Patent mining, and overseeing IPR Review Board processes; - Educating cliemts regarding IPR; - Patent portfolio analysis, patent portfolio management, competitor patent portfolio analysis, defensively and offensively utilizing a patent portfolio and supporting an overall Sony Ericsson IPR strategic technology program and other general IPR support in China; - Supporting IP litigations, licensing, and infringement/validity analyses;
Minimum Education and Experience to include: - BS or higher degree in Physics-or Mechanical Engineering; - Registered or be willing to meet registration and admission to practice requirements of SIPO and/or another patent office in a jurisdiction of interest to Sony Ericsson; - Experience in Asian, European and US cultures and intellectual property processes; - Excellent communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision are musts; - Must be fluent in understanding, speaking, reading, writing Chinese and English languages; - Law school graduate and admission to the practice of law in a jurisdiction of interest to Sony Ericsson would be considered a plus.
