Joyo Amazon is seeking a bright and motivated candidate to join its legal team based in Beijing. This position, reporting to Amazon Associate General Counsel and China Legal Director, will work closely with various business teams on licenses/permits management and compliance matters. Job Duties:
1. Managing all Joyo Amazon and its affiliates’ licenses, permits and government approvals. Working closely with retail, finance and operation teams to keep all those licenses, permits and approvals updated;
2. Handling inquiries, audits and investigations conducted by government authorities;
3. Monitoring new development of PRC laws in the areas which may affect the company’s licenses and permits, and ensuring that the company’s business comply with those laws;
4. Implement corporate and local law compliance guidelines and deliver training & communication of the compliance guidelines;
5. Handling the company trademarks, domain names and other IP matters; and
6. Working on other matters assigned by China Legal Director from time to time;
Job Requirements
1. Must have a bachelor of law degree or above and admitted to Chinese bar; 2. Strong knowledge of PRC regulations related to the company’s licenses and permits; 3. Familiar with government authorities and administrative procedures. 4. Must be experienced in handling government licenses/permits and project management. 5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the government authorities. 6. Fluent in Chinese and English 7. Ability to work independently under pressure and prioritize multiple projects, and work effectively in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.
