Responsibilities:

Drafting, revising and advising on IP clauses in all kinds of contracts (including cooperation and supply agreements)
Training and advising on best practices for protecting our trade secrets
Assessing and advising on IP infringement pre-litigation / litigation
Reviewing invention disclosures and product designs originating from our Chinese Businesses to ensure complete identification of protectable subject matter
Coordinating patent preparation and prosecution throughout the world for Chinese origin inventions as the case may be
Assisting in IP due diligence for transactions and acquisitions
Providing IP training to Alstom employees

Requirements:

Qualification to practice Law, in particular IP law
A plus would be to have in addition a Bachelor's degree in engineering and registration to practice before the SIPO
Excellent English language capabilities
2-5 years experience in IP law practice
Strong self-starting behavior, positive attitude, good team player
Display a level of initiative to handle various projects and responsibilities
Have demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, with rigor, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
