Job Description

- Create new ideas, introduce new raw materials and develop new formulas for various product categories for local market in China and overseas markets.
- Responsible for technology transfer from US to local contract manufacturers. Work with contract manufacturers to develop proper manufacturing standards and instructions that will efficiently manufacture new products using local equipment in Chinese manufacturing environment.
- Be able to substitute imported raw materials for local materials in the formulas in order to reduce bulk cost. Be capable to make lab samples, conduct relevant stability tests and create tentative lab specifications for new product formulas.
- Responsible for observing pilot batches or first production batches at supplier site. Create compounding instructions based on scale up processes.
- Evaluate quality of local material sources. Provide samples and specifications to US lab for study or potential substitution.
- Build a strong technical team for R&D department with excellent knowledge and train new chemist if necessary.

Job Requirement

- Minimum bachelor degree in chemistry or related science;
- Minimum two years of working experience in related field; Previous experience in multinational companies preferred;
- Ability to work independently and with a minimum of support; strong will to improve and optimize current practices.
- Ability to handle multi-projects within extremely short time lines.
- Good written English communication skills;
- Strong analytical skills
