RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Create scalable server solutions and server based features to help make EA games successful

· Work with game developers, producers, and product managers to achieve business objectives

· Learn and enhance existing EA technologies and platforms for game development

· Learn and create tools to improve quality, speed, and maintainability of game development & code

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

· Must have strong English skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing)

· 3+ years developing with J2EE (Tomcat/Java/Postgres or MySQL) and SQL

· 2+ years with AJAX, HTML, CSS

· 1+ year of experience working with client/server based applications on mobile.

· Fully understand how to create high performance client/server software on limited speed and connectivity networks (cellular networks).

· Experience with building consumer web sites a bonus.

· Experience with J2ME networking library development is a bonus

· Software Engineering degree from a major university.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must be both exceptionally passionate about game development and an avid game player-across genres

· Excellent Java skills with background in Linux and Windows environments

· Understanding of how to scale server farmers with high availability

· Must take pride in their work and willing to do whatever it takes to deliver high quality work on time
