The Jobl Lead China Product Planning Dept and be responsible of the product planning of all automobile models in China.l Supervise Product Planning Managers and help develop junior and senior planners.l Lead development of product strategies for current and future generations, including product positioning, pricing strategy, volume, spec negotiations/management, launch strategy, lifecycle planning, etc. l Interface and coordinate with headquarters and other divisions such as Marketing, Dealer Operations, Import and Distributions, and Customer Service on a daily basis.l Take projects from inception to completion with limited supervision.l Be creative in his/her approach to dealing with challenging situations. The Incumbentl University Degree in Science, Engineering, Business Management, or Marketing. MBA or MS/ME/MA is helpful but not required.l 8-10 years of professional and managerial experience in analytical, marketing, pricing, or planning. Minimum 5 yrs of automotive product experience is required. l Clear mind, strong logical thinking, ability to develop an argument concisely and convincingly with data.l Self-motivated with an ability to work independently under limited supervision, proactively discover and solve problems, and timely report and communicate with supervisor.l Excellent project management skills.l Occasional travel (once every 3 months) to Japan is required.l Excellent command in spoken and written English.
