职位描述/要求： Person Specification § At least 3 years’ experience of translating/interpreting in a business environment (preferably in an Investment Bank or Management Consultancy) § Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) § Degree qualified preferably with post-graduate qualification in translation/interpretation. § Knowledge of the financial services sector and terminology would be an added advantage § Knowledge of Traditional Chinese will be an added advantage § Excellent written & verbal communication skill § Proficient in Microsoft Office application § Team player who has experience of and has enjoyed working as part of a team § Ability to juggle several tasks at once, to prioritise and manage own time § Ability to work to deadlines and under stress § Methodical, accurate and excellent attention to detail § Flexible attitude, embraces change, hard-working and results driven § Knowledge of the China market and APR region § Someone who is willing to step outside their job description
Role Description § Translating business and technical documents including: – Published marketing reports – Generic marketing presentations – Client proposals – Client presentations – Other internal presentations and documents § Acting as coach/guide to partners, consultants, team members and support professionals engaged in writing materials in Mandarin § If interpretation capability is available, to serve as an interpreter for meetings and presentations frequently involving senior executives of clients.
